Trip Overview

Chitwan National Park, a perfect destination for wildlife enthusiasts locates in the southern Nepal covering 952.63 km2 (367.81 sq mi). As a first National Park of Nepal, it was established is 1973 and listed in World Heritage Site in 1984.

Situating in the subtropical low land, Chitwan National Park is the resident of various species of birds and animals. Visitors get the wildlife sanctuary of diverse mammals, birds, water animals, reptiles along with different species of vegetation. Some of the endangered species as one – horned rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger. You may track Langur Monkeys, Sloth Bear, Leopard, Jungle Cats, a herd of deer along with diverse reptiles as crocodile, python and ended 500 species of birds.   

Along with Elephant Back Safari, travelers can enjoy Jeep Safari, Canoeing and walking in in the bushes. Moreover, visitors explore unique lifestyle of Tharu Community along with cultural dances. Visiting Elephant Breeding Center and inspecting the sunset view at the bank of Rapti River are further magnetisms of this tour.

Detailed Itinerary

Open All Days

You will be picked up from your hotel and will be transferred to Chitwan today. As all the means of transportation-flights, car, Bus available, you can choose according to your interest. It takes around 5 hours using a car/bus whereas you can land spending 20 minutes only.

Reaching Kathmandu, you check in your hotel get some relaxed for a while, and have lunch there. After lunch, you will have a guided tour of Tharu Village. Subsequently, you will head riverside for a magnificent sunset view. In the evening, you will enjoy Tharu Cultural Dances.

Overnight at:Chitwan

Early in the morning, you will get a wake-up call. After the refreshment, you will have breakfast. Subsequently, you will go for the Elephant Back Safari. You will enter the National Park and sightsee different types of animals, reptiles, and birds. Crocodiles, one-horned rhinos, elephants, a herd of deer, monkeys, wild cats, and tiger (if you are lucky) along with species of birds are common to observe there.

Returning from the jungle, you will be freshened up. Then will head towards Kathmandu after lunch.

Note: Tourist Buses mostly leave in the morning. You should use a private car or flight for Kathmandu
