Detailed Itinerary

Open All Days

Once your flight descends to the Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, one of our airport representatives would be waiting for your arrival at the exit point of the airport. He/she will greet you with a welcoming smile and a Nepali Namaste and then, accompany you towards your hotel.

Take rest in your hotel room. We don’t have any specific plans for this day, but if you feel like strolling around, then the market place of Thamel is the best place to hang out. Or, you might as well visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is around 30 mins away by foot.

Overnight at:Kathmandu

Kathmandu is a historic city, flooded by the centuries-old temples and mystical edifices- many of which are also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is believed that there was a time when the number of temples inside the valley outnumbered the total population living there; this is the reason why Kathmandu is also known as ‘the city of temples.’

On this day, we will go to the temple of Swayambhunath (meaning self-existed), one of the most revered Buddhist Pilgrimage Sites in the world, to enjoy the views of the Kathmandu valley from the hilltop. Another similar Buddhist pilgrimage site is the Stupa of Boudhanath, which is famous for its massive mandala. It is one of the largest unique stupas in the world. Besides that, there are lots of monasteries within a reachable distance from Boudhanath.

Patan Durbar Square, on the other hand, is a legendary composition of artistic designs and its underlying mythical stories. Each pillar represents a Hindu deity, and the walls are full of paintings. The meticulously decorated interior and exterior of this ancient Royal Palace makes it a piece of gem in the world of arts. After exploring Patan, we will also visit the Golden Temple, whose outer-façade is coated with gold. This is absolutely an amazing structure.

Furthermore, the temple of Pashupatinath is unmissable. Being one of the four largest sanctuaries of Lord Shiva in the world, this temple receives over millions of visitors every year. The roof of the main temple of Shiva, inside the Pashupatinath premises, is coated with brass, silver, and gold. These are beautiful to look at, but above all, the extreme faith shown by the visitors towards Lord Shiva is commendable at Pashupatinath.

Overnight at:Kathmandu

After a joyous exploration of Kathmandu city, we will head on towards our next destination- Pokhara (a city of wonders). This city is the kingdom of natural vivacity: full of lakes, waterfalls and caves. The views of the incredible snow-clad ranges appear just incredible from this humble city of Pokhara.

On this day, instead of stopping in Pokhara, we will make our way directly to Sarangkot, which is about 1-hour drive from Pokhara. This is because the sunrise view from this viewpoint of Sarangkot is simply majestic. From the hilltop, you could still witness the smiling outlook of soaring Macchapuchre, incredible Annapurna, and calm Dhaulagiri.

For the night, you will stay at one of the lodges at Sarangkot.

Overnight at:Sarangkot/Naudanda

Before the sun mounts over the horizon, wake up and climb a short way up to the viewpoint to live through the moment of magical sunrise. This is an incredible glimpse of nature, but sometimes the weather may turn out bad, and the dream of witnessing this spectacular moment would fade away. Even if that happens, we are not going to ruin our day. We will be kicking off on a sightseeing tour to Pokhara.

As said earlier, Pokhara is magical. No matter where you end up, you will always find Pokhara a heavenly city. On this day, we will begin our adventure exploration from the Mahendra Cave, which is the oldest and also the largest cave of Nepal. The inside of the cave is dark, and with the help of a torchlight, you could see many beautiful carvings on the walls. Subsequently, our expedition will lead us towards Devi’s waterfall, which is an underground waterfall. The best time to witness this growling cataract is in the month of June, July, and August: after the monsoon, before winter.

Plus, we will also go to see the beautiful landscape of Seti gorge, where the river Seti intrudes through the stubborn cliff and enjoys the liberty. Furthermore, International Mountain Museum exploration and Boating in Phewa can give you a memorable experience. In addition, we will visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp also, where the Tibetans freelancers stitch carpets and create amazing handicraft items out of locally available materials. You would love it.

If time favors, we will also visit World Peace Stupa, which is one of the many peace pagodas in the world, built by Nipponzan Myohogi, during his world peace campaign.

Overnight at:Pokhara

Early in the morning, we will have our breakfast and then, return to Kathmandu via Tourist Bus / Private car (as per the requirement of traveler). On the way, we might stop at Bandipur, which has been the commercial hub since the late 19th century. The nearby settlements are of Newari people, and the houses typically dictate the Newari architecture- as seen in many parts of Bhaktapur.

Later, we will continue our journey to Kathmandu. By the time we arrive here, we will check-in to our hotel and then share our memorable moments together. Today, there will be a farewell party, where all of us will be meeting together and then chat about the overall trip experience.

Overnight at:Kathmandu

Finally, the day has come to return home. But, if you wish, you may as well extend your stay and go for other adventures in Nepal. But, officially, it is the time to say goodbye.
