Poon Hill, a vantage point situated above 3200m above the sea level. It is a magnificent point having incredible scenes of the Himalayas. Meeting friendly people on the trial, exploring the wonderful villages and enjoying the pleasant climatic condition are the core attractions of this trek.

Weather in Autumn (September, October & November)

One of the most popular seasons for trekking is Autumn beside Spring in Nepal. The trekking routes and teahouses are full with excursionists in this season. As the rainfall decreases gradually in this season, the skies become crystal clear and the views of the Himalayas is magnificent.

The average temperature at season remains 10-24 however, in Poonhill the temperature drops to freezing point.

Weather in Winter (December, January, February)

As it is a cold season, the temperature gets below freezing in the mornings and evenings sometimes. As high-altitude treks are closed, still this trek is opened during winter as well.

In the winter season the average temperature of the trial is 4-15 however, the days can be hotter and the nights can be more colder getting negative temperature.

There less chance of raining in this season but can be snowfall sometimes.

As the skies are clear, the views of the mountains are scenic and not extreme cold as Annapurna and Everest region, the excursionists can vividly enjoy this trek.

Weather in Spring (March, April & May)

Another most popular season for trek in Nepal is Spring one. This season offers the astonishing views of the mountain peaks, lavish hills and rhododendron forest.

Mild temperatures, low sleet, clear skies are some attractions of this season. The temperature may get up to 25 throughout the journey. But the mornings and evenings are relatively colder.

Throughout the journey, you can see the hills covered with rhododendron and other forests. This is scenic.

Weather in Summer (June, July & August)

The days are warmer in these days and you need not to wear thick clothes as you can walk with t-shirts and shorts.

But you need to carry water proof gears as there is high possibility of raining.

In the summer, we have monsoon season as well. In this season there is heavy rainfall in some areas and there can be landslides on the way. So, you need to be a bit careful.
